Enfield Moves Up in State Field Hockey Poll

Darien and Norwalk engaged in a close battle for the top spot in the latest weekly Connecticut field hockey coaches poll.

Darien (8-0-1) garnered five of eight first-place votes to earn the number one ranking, while Norwalk (8-0) received the other three first-place votes to place second.

Enfield (6-0) moved up two spots to fourth in the most recent balloting.

Here are the top 10 teams, plus others who received votes, with records through Oct. 4.
