Enfield Takes Over Top Spot in Field Hockey Poll
The only unbeaten, untied team in Connecticut assumed the top poll position for the first time in more than two decades.

Not since the three-peat state championship seasons of 1992, 1993 and 1994 has the Enfield High School field hockey program been at the top of the mountain...until now.
As the lone remaining undefeated, untied team in Connecticut, the Eagles garnered four of eight first-place votes to claim the peak position in the latest weekly state coaches poll.
Enfield (11-0), which moved up from the No. 2 ranking last week, has overwhelmed opponents by an incredible 52-1 scoring margin this season.
