How Enfield-Based High School Teams Are Faring This Fall

Two Enfield High School teams have already qualified for CIAC tournament play.

ENFIELD, CT — As the fall sports regular season begins to enter the homestretch, anticipation is building at Enfield High School and the CREC Public Safety Academy toward the goal of qualifying for CIAC tournament competition.

Two Enfield teams have already locked up postseason berths, with two others still having a chance to qualify. The Public Safety Academy has two teams still in contention for tournament spots.

Here is a look at the records for Enfield and Public Safety varsity teams through Oct. 15. Teams listed in bold print have already clinched a tournament spot; the number in parentheses signifies the number of regular season games remaining. (NOTE: the CIAC does not post team records for boys cross country, girls cross country or girls swimming on its web site).
