Movie Theater In Enfield Closing For Good In Early December

ENFIELD, CT — Rumors about the imminent closure of the movie theater inside the Enfield Square shopping mall were confirmed Monday by a manager who said the final day of showings will be Dec. 7.

The theater complex, officially called Cinemark Enfield 12, is owned by Cinemark USA, Inc., a Plano, Texas-based corporation whose website states it is the third-largest chain in the country, with 315 theaters and 4,370 screens in 42 states.
