Near Mystic: Civil War Postcard Has a Message

If you’ve heard the expression “...Take a walk in someone else’s shoes,” estate sales are the perfect opportunity to do this. When you explore a sale, the figurative becomes literal and you can not only buy the shoes, you can walk through the memories of their owner. The lesson you were taught in humility as a child becomes a lesson in humanity and appreciation.

I found this postcard (pictured) with the scene from a major Civil War battle, but what I actually got was a brief education in understanding the importance of finding your ancestors.
