Numerous Items Found Adjacent to Bridge In Freshwater Brook
The location of the items in the water appear to indicate they were dumped from the South River Street bridge.

ENFIELD, CT — As Department of Transportation employees work on taking soil samples from each side of the South River Street bridge this week, they can glance below and find a veritable menagerie of items that would make most flea markets or tag sales jealous.
A Sunday visit to Freshwater Brook directly beneath the short bridge span resulted in discovery of a scooter, bicycle, baby stroller and shopping cart, among other items in the water.
The positioning of the items seem to indicate they were dumped into the water from the bridge.
