Boat Vandalism Continues At Benson Marina: Fairfield Police

The most recent vandalism appears to be related to similar incidents in late 2021, according to Fairfield police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A slew of boat vandalism is ongoing in Fairfield, according to police.

Authorities received a report about 5 p.m. Thursday of interior damage and exterior graffiti to a boat at South Benson Marina, 555 Turney Road, police said, adding the vandalism appeared to be related to similar incidents in late 2021.

Officers responded to the marina twice in December and found at least eight boats and two trailers spray-painted with similar markings and tags, which included words such as: yeet/yeex, mot/mox, sano and reckr, according to police.
