Cancer Survivor Makes History with Milestone Moment at Fairfield Warde
Senior Giacomo Brancato became the first player in Warde history to score 1,000 career points.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Senior Giacomo Brancato became the first player in Fairfield Warde High School history to score 1,000 career points in Tuesday night’s win over New Canaan, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports Brancato, who barely played two years ago while battling non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, scored 15 points in the 69-46 home victory.

Marcel Parsons scored a game-high 18 points for the Mustangs (10-1), while J.J. Conway added 14 and Antonio Brancato had seven points.
