Eight-Month Pregnant Fairfield Woman Accused of Assaulting Boyfriend, Violating Protective Order

The boyfriend has a protective order against the woman in place.

An eight-month pregnant Fairfield woman was arrested after allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, who has a protective order against her, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports that Damarisa Lopez-Sosa, 25, of Knapps Highway, was arrested Monday night after a police officer on patrol saw two people fighting on a Black Rock Turnpike sidewalk.

The boyfriend told police that he had been at Lopez-Sosa’s house but left after they started arguing and he was walking on Black Rock Turnpike when Sosa showed up in her car and allegedly knocked him down and began punching him in the head, according to the Citizen.

Lopez-Sosa told police they were arguing because the boyfriend impregnated another woman, according to the Citizen.
