Fairfield Field Of Valor Ceremony To Honor Veterans

Proceeds from flag purchases benefit Homes for the Brave, an organization that supports homeless veterans.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Kiwanis Club will honor veterans and active military with a ceremony Sunday at Fairfield's Field of Valor. The event will be 2 p.m. at Jennings Park.

Residents who would like to reserve one of the many flags that cover the field can do so at fairfieldkiwanis.org/flag. The cost is $25 and residents may keep the flag or donate it for future use. The proceeds benefit Homes for the Brave, an organization that supports homeless veterans.

Parking for the ceremony will be available across the street in the Bob's parking lot. For more information, call Paul Giacalone at 646-872-0112.
