Fairfield Mom Jailed, Accused of Hiding Whereabouts of Missing Son

The boy was reported missing in December and his father, and a judge, believe the mother knows where he is and isn't telling.

A Fairfield woman was jailed for the second time in two days in a missing person case in which a judge has ordered her to reveal the whereabouts of her son or face more jail time, according to the Connecticut Post.

Daniel Tepfer of the Post reports that Superior Court Judge Gerard Adelman said he would order Kathryn Sorrentino, of Curtis Terrace, to be brought back into court every day at 2 p.m. and be asked where her son, Storm Sorrentino, is and if she doesn’t answer, she will go back to jail.

Kathryn Sorrentino and her husband Saverio Sorrentino, of Newtown, were divorced in 2007 and Saverio was awarded custody of Storm, according to the Post.
