Fairfield Police Charge Stratford Man with Stalking Ex-Wife
The woman, who had a protective order against her ex-husband, arrived at police headquarters as he was following her.

Fairfield police arrested a Stratford man for allegedly stalking his ex-wife early Friday morning, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports that Paul Fanciulli, 35, is accused of following his former wife, who had a protective order against him, from her work in Bridgeport until she reached Fairfield Police headquarters where she arrived in a friendās car after calling 911.
Fanciulli allegedly yelled obscenities through his car window at his ex-wife as she was getting into a friendās car after work at about 12:30 a.m. and he then drove away, according to the Citizen. The women later realized that Fanciulli was following them and at one point, he pulled up next to them and tried to talk to his ex-wife and then used his car to block them from getting on the Merritt Parkway, according to the Citizen.

Fairfield police stopped Fanciulli on the Post Road and took him into custody, according to the Citizen.
Fanciulli was also arrested in Fairfield this past December when he allegedly stole the strobe lights off a Fairfield businessā tow truck. Fairfield Police also arrested Fanciulli in February 2014 in connection to an incident in which he pushed his girlfriend into a window at the Best Western, according to the Fairfield Daily Voice.

He also faces tax evasion charges stemming from a Jan. 26 arrest by the state Department of Revenue Services.
Stratford police also arrested Fanciulli twice last year and he was also arrested in Bridgeport last October, according to the Citizen.
