Fairfield Warde Moves Up in Boys Basketball Poll

The Mustangs have won 11 of their first 12 contests this season.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Hillhouse High School maintained its position as Connecticut's top boys basketball team, drawing 17 of 20 first-place votes in the latest weekly poll of the state's sports media.

The Academics, defending Class LL champions, improved to 13-0 with a pair of big wins last week.

Fairfield Warde (11-1) moved up two spots to the number eight position in the rankings, while Notre Dame-Fairfield (11-1) just missed the top 10.
