Family Halloween Costume Parade Announced In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — The family Halloween costume parade will be held in conjunction with the Halloween on the Green event on Sunday, Oct. 29, the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Fairfield Museum and the Town of Fairfield, announced this week. The parade, which will be held rain or shine, will start at 12:30 p.m. with First Selectman Mike Tetreau leading the parade as the Grand Marshal. The Fairfield Chamber will award 10 prizes for outstanding and creative costumes.

Participants in the parade will line-up behind the Burr Mansion (739 Old Post Road) beginning at 12 p.m. The parade route will move out onto the Old Post Road, turn right on the sidewalk, turn right into the Old Town Hall driveway by St. Paul’s Church, and end at the WEBE 108 tent behind the Fairfield Museum, where prizes will be awarded.

Everyone is invited to dress up and put on their scariest, funniest, prettiest, creepiest, spookiest and most creative Halloween costume for all to enjoy.

The event is free and open to the public.
