Happy Cinco de Mayo! What a beautiful weekend we had. The Dogwood Festival was a huge success, and Fairfield’s week in real estate was a busy one as well. 45 new listings, including our $4.25mm listing in Greenfield Hill, 19 homes went under binder, an additional 19 homes went pending, and 26 homes closed.
For those of you who do not understand the difference between a binder status and pending status here is an explanation. A binder is the initial offer for a property signed by both parties agreeing to price and terms. Pending status is when all of the inspection items have been cleared and contracts drawn up by the lawyers have been signed by all parties.
