Masked Man Robs Gas Station At Knife-Point: Fairfield Police
The gas station was robbed by a knife-wielding man for the second time in less than a week.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Mobil Gas Station located at 1271 Stratfield Rd. in Fairfield was robbed at knife-point for the second time in less than a week on Sunday night. Police say at about 8:52 p.m. on April 1, a man carrying a knife entered the store and ordered the clerk to open the cash register. The suspect grabbed an undetermined amount of cash and fled the store.
The suspect entered the passenger side of a light gray Chevy Silverado pickup truck bearing an unknown Connecticut registration plate, according to police. The truck appeared to have a dark, possibly black, ladder rack and tool-style box in the bed of the truck, police said. The Chevy Silverado appeared to be a mid-90s model with the Chevy symbol in the middle of the tailgate.
Fairfield Police pursued a vehicle that matched the description and was last seen on Hawley Avenue headed toward Main Street in Bridgeport.

The suspect (pictured) was described by police as a taller, stocky, white male wearing a full gray ski mask, gray pants, brown boots and a black hoodie.

The Stratfield Mobil Gas Station was also robbed at knife-point on March 26 and the Star Gas Station was robbed by a knife-wielding man on March 25.
