Popular Harvest Market Returns & More In Fairfield This Weekend
There's plenty in store at the Harvest Market: food trucks, a beer garden, dog costume parade & more. Check here for more upcoming events.

FAIRFIELD, CT — After dealing with another bout of flash flooding on Thursday and more rain in the forecast for Saturday morning, the skies will clear and set up a perfect fall day on Sunday… just in time for the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce’s always popular fall Harvest Market. The annual event will take place on Sunday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the historic Old Town Hall Green (corner of Old Post Road and Beach Road). The event, which is rain or shine, is free and open to the public.
There is a lot to look forward to at this event, and there’s something for everyone… first, there will be food trucks all day long, so you can’t go wrong with that. There will also be the popular Dog Costume Parade and baby chicks on display for viewing from Little River Farm.
New this year is the Fairfield Rotary Club’s Beer Garden (featuring Fairfield Craft Ales), which will held outside the Old Sun Tavern, behind the Fairfield Museum from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Live Music by the Sabbs Bros, pumpkin sponsorships, gift cards and more. Tickets are $5/21 and over.
