Maskulinity: Unfolding Codes of Gender, produced by Salix Productions, is a contemporary movement performance project with choreography directed by Ras Mikey C, Director of Education for F.I.V.E. with dancers hailing from New Haven, South Windsor, Ansonia, and as far as Brattleboro, VT. The movement is put together in such a way to tell many stories and perspectives that have been extrapolated from popular culture and sociological, feminist perspectives. The dancers and choreographers bring race, violence, sexuality, and relationships to the stage in this innovative dance project.
