Routine Farmington Police Line Goes Down Tuesday, Back Wednesday
The routine phone line at the Farmington Police Department had a malfunction Tuesday into Wednesday and was back up later in the day.

FARMINGTON, CT — The non-emergency phone number at the Farmington Police Department went down Tuesday evening and was still not functioning late Wednesday morning, officials said. I was back online in the evening.
The FPD's routine phone line went down at about 5 p.m. and a crew from Frontier has been working on the issue overnight and into Wednesday.
The system was back up at 7:15 p.m.

Police said, in the meantime, resident were able to use the 911 system and a temporary phone line — 860- 673-2525 — had been set up for routine matters.
