U.S. News Ranking: Farmington High School Rated Among Nation's Top 600

U.S. News & World Report released its high school rankings Tuesday.

FARMINGTON, CT - In a just-released report, U.S. News & World Report concluded that 25 Connecticut public high schools are among the nation’s top 1,000.

Farmington High School ranked No. 12 for best public high schools in Connecticut and 546th best nationwide, according to the report.

Farmington has a 96 percent graduation rate, a student-teacher ratio of 13:1 and a college readiness index score of 53.9. A college readiness score pertains to students' performance on standardized tests; to view an in-depth report on how Farmington High School students did, click here.

There are 1,314 students at the school and 105 full-time teachers.
