Connecticut Braces for Bitter Cold, Snow
Read on for when the snow is slated to fall and how to find your local warming center.

The good news (if you’re not a fan of the snow) is that the forecast accumulation totals have gone down since yesterday’s prediction. Originally one to three inches were predicted to fall on Tuesday, Jan. 6, but the National Weather Service is now calling for less than an inch of snow for most Connecticut towns.
On Tuesday night, temperatures will fall well below freezing across the state. There is a slight chance of snowfall Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon but it won’t accumulate, according to the NWS.
Wednesday’s temperatures won’t get above freezing during the day and the wind may gust as high as 32 mph or more. Wednesday night is the coldest night of the week — forecast temperatures range from zero to 5.
