Local volunteers meet up monthly to welcome new volunteers while learning professional development skills
WETHERSFIELD, Conn. – Volunteers from Wethersfield, Glastonbury, and Portland’s Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge will be attending a Toastmasters International meeting on Monday, July 16th. Toastmasters is an international non-profit education club working to help professionals refine their public speaking and leadership skills.
Neighbor to Neighbor will begin hosting monthly meetings for volunteers to meet others with similar interests and learn workplace skills in a community organizing/outreach setting. This will be a fun learning experience and a good opportunity to enjoy the company of others in your community - bring a friend, all are welcome!
