Glastonbury Education Foundation Holds Gala Fundraiser Friday

How often do you get a chance to attend a real, honest-to-goodness gala?

On Friday night, November 16, the Glastonbury Education Foundation is holding a fundraising gala at Glastonbury Hills Country Club on Country Club Drive in South Glastonbury. A portion of the $125 ticket is a tax-deductible contribution to the foundation, which raises money to fund educational programs, projects and initiatives in the schools and community.

A highlight of the evening will be the much-anticipated Diamond Wishes. Guests may purchase boxes of chocolates for $50 each. One of the boxes will contain a diamond teardrop pendant necklace donated by La Perla Jewelers of West Hartford—valued at $1,980!

The foundation’s premiere fundraising event of the year, the gala runs from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. and features hors d’oeuvres, dinner, an open bar, silent and live auctions, and entertainment.
