Glastonbury Police: Dance Mom Tapped for Vandalism at Recital

GLASTONBURY, CT - A dance mom from Manchester has been arrested for vandalizing a car at a recital, police said.
Jasmin Ayala, 36, of Manchester, was arrested on a warrant June 22, police said. She has been charged with first-degree criminal mischief, accused of keying another woman's car during a dance recital at Smith Middle School in Glastonbury on June 5, NBC Connecticut has reported.
Police told NBC said the two women had a prior argument and happened to be at the same recital. There was surveillance video, according to police, and Ayala is accused of causing $10,700 worth of damage, according to the NBC report.
