Glastonbury schools will remain closed through Tuesday due to Hurricane Sandy.

Glastonbury Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, due to the threat of Hurricane Sandy.
Superintendent Alan B. Bookman made the announcement Monday afternoon, following increased fears of Hurricane Sandy's potential impact on the region. All schools, buildings and offices in town will be shut down Tuesday.

Glastonbury High School will be opened Tuesday morning as a comfort station, where residents without power can shower or charge their electronic devices.
