The Glastonbury school system’s part-time paraprofessionals union reached a new six-year agreement with the board of education, according to the school board.

The recently approved contract calls for a general increase in wages for the district’s part-time paraprofessionals of 2 percent this year, and then 2.5 percent during the 2013-14 school year. Each following year will see an increase of 3 percent in general wages.
