• Glastonbury Police Make Arrest In Vehicle Burglary Spree (patch.com) — Glastonbury residents are learning more about a months-long vehicle burglary spree that hit the town earlier this year, after police arrested a 22-year-old New Britain man tied to dozens of thefts across Connecticut and Massachusetts. Investigators say the suspect, already in state custody, now faces multiple burglary, larceny, and motor vehicle theft charges stemming from incidents reported in Glastonbury in January and February.
   

• 0053-0203 Glastonbury (ct.gov) — A major Route 2 bridge replacement over Quarry Road in Glastonbury is moving forward, with a virtual public information meeting set for Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026 at 6 p.m. Residents can learn about the $21 million project, expected to start in spring 2029, ask questions, and submit comments during a two-week public comment period following the meeting.
