Weather Permitting-There's a Lot To Do In East Granby on Saturday

I'm Jim Hayden, the First Selectman of East Granby and welcome to my first blog.  Periodically I will blog events and activities which may be of interest to East Granby residents.

The Women's Club Third Annual 5k Ridge Run is being held on Saturday, May 21st. The race will start at East Granby Farms around 10 am.  Due to the race, Route 187 from North Main Street to South Grand Street will be closed from around 10 am to 11 am.  Proceeds will benefit charities supported by the East Granby Women's Club.

Weather permitting, the East Granby Lions Club is holding it's semi-annual Flea Market on Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm at the East Granby Congregational Church at the corner of Routes 20 & 187.  Proceeds support the Lions charitable contributions which include eyecare for the needy, scholarships for high school seniors and much much more.
