Vehicle Stolen from Simsbury Found in Granby
Simsbury police are searching for suspects who stole a vehicle which was found abandoned in Granby early Tuesday morning.

GRANBY/SIMSBURY, CT — Police are searching for occupants of a stolen vehicle which was abandoned just over the town line in Granby early Tuesday morning.
Around 1:30 a.m., a Simsbury police officer observed two suspicious vehicles traveling on Hopmeadow Street, which pulled into the parking lot of a condominium complex at 971 Hopmeadow Street. The officer found several young males rummaging through parked vehicles, who fled in two different cars upon seeing the officer, Lt. Frederick Sifodaskalakis said.
The officer unsuccessfully attempted to stop the vehicles, and another Simsbury officer located north of the incident set up stop sticks. One of the vehicles went over the stop sticks, which deflated its tires. This vehicle was found over the town line in Granby, and the occupants fled the area into the woods, Sifodaskalakis said.
