15-Year-Old Girl Charged In GHS Message Incident: Police
Police said a 15-year-old female student at Greenwich High School was involved with the disturbing message that was found Dec. 9.

GREENWICH, CT — A 15-year-old girl was involved in the "disturbing message" incident at Greenwich High School last week that prompted a response from the Greenwich Police Department, according to Lt. Martin O'Reilly of the GPD.
The student was referred to Bridgeport Juvenile Court for the charges of first-degree threatening, which is a class D Felony, third-degree criminal mischief and breach of peace last week, police said. O'Reilly said no further information will be released because of the age of the accused.
Around 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 9, the GPD was contacted by School Resource Officers (SRO) after a threatening message was found written on a wall inside a girls bathroom. Out of an abundance of caution, extra officers were sent to the school. Normally there are two SROs who patrol the school daily.
