Billy Joel Gives Impromptu Performance at Greenwich Restaurant

GREENWICH, CT—Billy Joel decided to give a surprise performance at L'Escale restaurant last week.

Joel played a short piece on the piano, according to Greenwich Time.

Joel frequents Greenwich and often takes his 57-foot yacht the Vendetta on cruises in Greenwich waters. He lives in Oyster Bay Long Island, about 11 nautical miles from Greenwich.

He is the 6th best selling artist of all time with 82.5 million certified units sold, according to the RIAA. He is also the third best-selling solo artist
