Dog Mauls Another Dog, Greenwich Owner Arrested: Police

The victim dog suffered injuries in the attack.

GREENWICH, CT — A Byram man who owns a mixed German Shepherd dog was arrested for allegedly allowing the animal to roam which led to it attacking and injuring a smaller Beagle, according to police.

Arrested on July 8 on charges of animal nuisance, failure to vaccinate for rabies, and allowing a dog to roam was Putnam Green resident Christiian S. Allen, 37.

Greenwich police said Allen's German Shepherd was allegedly involved another attack in June in addition to the attack on the Beagle.

Allen was released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on July 24.
