“Our detectives have been networking with other agencies in the suburban New York area that have suffered similar gas station robberies. As a result of this arrest, additional evidence was obtained regarding our Sheephill Mobil Station robbery,” Greenwich Police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray said Saturday afternoon. “We expect formal charges lodged against the responsible party shortly.”
On March 28, a man wearing a Halloween mask and brandishing a gun, entered the Sheep Hill Mobil gas station at 1129 E. Putnam Ave. about 1:30 a.m. and demanded cash from the station attendant. He took a small amount of cash before fleeing in a waiting car, Greenwich Police have said.
