According to Greenwich police Capt. John Slusarz, officers responded to Byram Park at 8:25 p.m. on April 9 on a report of a large group of juveniles and young adults who gathered after hours.
As the group was being dispersed, Slusarz said, officers found a teenage girl who had been assaulted. The girl was taken to the hospital where she was treated for minor injuries, Slusarz said.

Officers quickly learned the assault was recorded on video and distributed on social media, Slusarz added.
First Selectman Fred Camillo issued a statement Thursday afternoon, saying he was "appalled" at the video.
"As always, violence of any sort will not be tolerated in the town of Greenwich. I have been in contact with the Greenwich Police Department and I want our residents to know that five of the suspects have been identified and that two have already been arrested with three arrests pending," Camillo said.
"The GPD’s Patrol Division, the Special Victim Section and its Detective Division have all been involved in investigating this incident and will continue to do so," Camillo added. "If anybody in the public has additional information to share about this incident, please reach out to the Greenwich Police Department."
Police asked the public for help to identify those involved following the incident.
"GPD wants to thank the community for their assistance," police said Thursday.
