Greenwich Victim Hit For 6-Figures In Identity Theft Scheme: PD

GREENWICH, CT — An unnamed online financial account of a Round Hill Road resident recently was breached and $100,000 was illegally transfered out of it, according to Greenwich police.

The identity theft case was reported to police on April 6, but additional information was not immediately available.

"Obviously, we're investigating this, but no other details are being disclosed at this time," said Lt. John Slusarz.
