Woman Dies From Injuries After Being Hit By Car In Greenwich: PD
The woman was hit by a vehicle in the Old Greenwich area of town while crossing the street the day after Thanksgiving, according to police.

GREENWICH, CT – A Greenwich pedestrian who was struck by an SUV in the Old Greenwich area of town Nov. 29 has died from her injuries, according to police. Regina Dowling, 62, suffered severe injuries and died Thursday.
Dowling walked from Sound Beach Avenue to Station Drive South when she was struck by a Honda CRV that made a turn from Sound Beach Avenue onto Station Drive South, police said. The CRV was driven by an 82-year-old Greenwich resident.
"The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators," Lt. John Slusarz said. "At this time no charges have been filed as this is an ongoing investigation."

On Monday, Slusarz said he was unsure if speed or drugs or alcohol were a factor in the incident.
"We're in evidence collecting mode," Slusarz said to Patch, "so we're interviewing witnesses and collecting videos, then we will...reconstruct the collision."

He also said officers will try to determine where the woman was going and where she was coming from during this phase of the investigation.
