New Details Released In 'Severe' Greenwich Pedestrian Accident
Police are currently collecting evidence for a crash that left a 62-year-old Greenwich woman with "severe" injuries.

GREENWICH, CT — Police are still investigating an accident that left a pedestrian "severely injured" last week in Old Greenwich. On Friday around 10 a.m., a 62-year-old Greenwich woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing Sound Beach Avenue, according to police.
Lt. John Slusarz said the vehicle, a 2015 Honda CR-V, struck the woman while making a left turn into the Arcadia Parking Lot. Slusarz said the woman is currently hospitalized and her injuries are "severe."
The male driver remained at the scene following the incident and was cooperating with police. Slusarz said he was unsure if speed or drugs or alcohol were a factor in the incident.
