Human Remains Search Resumes In Greenwich's Binney Park
Members of the Greenwich Police Department returned to the park in Old Greenwich on Thursday.

GREENWICH, CT — The search continued on Thursday morning, June 22, for human remains and other evidence at Binney Park in Old Greenwich, where human bones were discovered in late April.
Members of the Greenwich Police Department and other law enforcement officials have returned to the park multiple times over the past several weeks to conduct the exhaustive ground and water search for more clues.
Additional human bones have been discovered at the site since the initial discovery on April 25, but Greenwich police say that they are consistent with only one person not more bodies.

Officers have also found animal bones at the site, and they are able tell the difference between animal and human bones with the help of a state anthropologist who can quickly discern the difference, according to police.
