Chamberlain brandished a knife and pushed the man back into the vestibule, preventing him from leaving, police said. Chamberlain robbed the man of his money, and cut the man's hand with the knife during the encounter, police noted. Chamberlain, who was wearing a black face covering, fled the area on foot.

Chamberlain could not post a court-set bond of $250,000 and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on July 6.
