Road Tripping To Connecticut? Don't Ask
According to the personal finance website WalletHub, road tripping to Connecticut about the equivalent of a flat tire.

Residents know about Connecticut's charms, but apparently that's about it, if you believe personal finance website WalletHub's latest report, 2017's Best & Worst States for Summer Road Trips.
The Constitution State ranks dead last as the nation's worst state for a road trip, primarily due to some of the costs associated with vacationing here.
For example, Connecticut has some of the highest costs for camping, and fewest scenic byways.

"With road warriors in mind, WalletHub compared the 50 U.S. states based on 22 key metrics to find the most fun, scenic and wallet-friendly road-trip destinations — plus those that’ll have travelers pulling a quick U-turn," writes author Richie Bernardo. "Our data set ranges from the number of attractions to road conditions to costs."

Where are the best states for road trips? The top three are all out West, Oregon (#1), Utah (#2) and Washington (#3). Rounding out the top five are North Carolina and Louisiana.
Joining Connecticut for the dubious honor of rounding out the bottom five of worst states for road trips are Rhode Island (#49), Mississippi (#48), Pennsylvania (#47) and North Dakota (#46).
