Connecticut Weather: Stormy Weather This Week, Snowflakes Too?
A strange weather week continues, surprise snow on Monday, now rain and maybe thunderstorms and possibly more snowflakes later this week.

Some strange weather is moving into Connecticut for the rest of this week and this comes on the heels of a strange snowstorm that brought several inches of snow to the state on Monday. We'll see it all the rest of this week: rain, fog, wind, possibly thunderstorms, and maybe even some snowflakes.
Temps will remain chilly for this time of year, except on Wednesday when we will see temps in the 60s before another significant cool down.
The National Weather Service says to expect "increasing clouds this morning and rain developing through the day. The precipitation may briefly begin as a light wintry mix across the interior, but will quickly change to plain rain."

"The rain should taper off tonight with just some lingering light rain or drizzle possible with areas of fog developing. The warm front moves to the north early Wednesday morning and will be followed by a cold front passage Wednesday afternoon. The cold front will bring a round of showers as it moves across and a few rumbles of thunder cannot be ruled out. Dry weather returns Wednesday evening into Thursday as high pressure moves towards the region."
Temperatures on Tuesday will continue to run about 10 degrees below normal, with highs in the low to mid 40s. Highs on Wednesday will rise into the upper 50s to lower 60s ahead of the cold front. Below normal temperatures in the 40s return on Thursday.

The state could see some snow on Friday too, especially areas away from the immediate coast.
For Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties, the weather service also says, a wind advisory may be needed for a portion of southern New England for strong SW winds during the day and strong W winds at night on Wednesday.
