HAMDEN, CT — Police are warning residents after three vehicles were stolen in a 15-minute period on Monday morning. Police said all of the vehicles were being warmed up in the owners’ driveways at the time they were stolen.
The vehicles were stolen from Woodin Street, Helen Street and the Pine Rock neighborhood, according to police. The suspected car thieves were reported to be possibly juveniles, police said.
“Please be cautious when warming up your vehicles, see if it’s possible to secure the vehicle while it’s being warmed up,” police said in a post on Facebook.
