4 Teens Arrested, Found In Stolen Vehicle: Hamden Police
Four teens were arrested during the overnight hours Monday after they were found in a vehicle that was stolen out of West Haven, police said
HAMDEN, CT — Four juveniles from New Haven were arrested early Monday morning in Hamden after they were found in a vehicle that was stolen out of West Haven, according to police.
Hamden police responded to Valley Road around 3:45 a.m. on Nov. 30 on the report of an “occupied suspicious vehicle,” according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said officers quickly determined that the vehicle was stolen earlier in West Haven.

Officer Vin Palma and Officer William Pesanelli apprehended four juveniles who were sitting inside the vehicle. A fifth juvenile ran away, according to Smith.
Police found a box of .22 ammunition inside the vehicle, according to Smith.

The juveniles, whose names weren’t released because of their age, were all charged with first-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny. They are scheduled to appear at Juvenile Court in New Haven on Dec. 15.
