Bullets Strike Vehicle Parked in Hamden Backyard: Police
Police are investigating the incident, which occurred early Sunday morning: BREAKING

HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Police Department is investigating after a vehicle was struck by bullets while in the backyard of a Winchester Avenue home early Sunday morning.
Police responded to the area of Winchester Avenue and Marlboro Street on the report of shots fired at about 4 a.m. on July 31, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said investigation revealed that a motor vehicle that was parked in the rear yard of a Winchester Avenue residence was struck by two bullets. Witnesses told police that they heard four gunshots.
