Hamden Man Sentenced for Selling Crack Cocaine
The man, who has a history of convictions, was arrested last August.

A Hamden man with a history of convictions was sentenced Wednesday to five years in federal prison for selling crack cocaine.
Jerome Moye, 32, was also sentenced to three years of supervised release following the prison term.
According to court documents and statements made in court, on six occasions between February and April 2014, Moye sold crack cocaine to an individual working with law enforcement.

Moye has been detained since his arrest on August 27, 2014. He pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of, cocaine base (“crack”) on Feb. 24.
Moye’s criminal history includes multiple felony convictions, including a sexual assault conviction, and numerous violations of probation. He previously served a state prison term of more than three years for a narcotics distribution offense.
