Hamden Police Announce Results Of ‘Click-It-Or-Ticket’ Campaign

The campaign was funded through a grant from the Connecticut Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.

HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Police Department issued more than 200 infraction tickets during the recently completed “Click-It or Ticket Enforcement Program.” Enforcement efforts commenced on May 22 and concluded on June 2, according to police. Funding for the program was granted by the Connecticut Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.

Hamden Police issued 218 infraction tickets for seat belt violations. Enforcement was conducted on Dixwell Avenue, State Street, Washington Avenue and Whitney Avenue, police said.
