Hamden Police Participate In Successful Toy Drive

The event was organized by the Hamden Police Department and Hamden Youth Center.

HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Police Department and Hamden Youth Center received approximately $3,500 in cash/gift cards and more than 550 toys for distribution during its Toy Drive this past weekend.

“Hamden Police would like to thank all of the participants, including members of the Hamden High School Cheerleading Team, Hamden Explorers, Hamden Police Officers and Hamden Firefighters,” Capt. Ronald Smith said. “Special thanks to those organizations that donated toys, gift cards and money. Generous donations were received from Quinnipiac University, CAPS Woodworking, Luigimady LLC and the Hamden Police Union.”
