Hamden Teen, 19, Charged With Theft From Cars In Cheshire: PD
Four people have been arrested in connection to thefts from cars early Sunday morning in Cheshire.

CHESHIRE, CT — A Hamden residents was among the four people arrested in connection to a theft from a car during the early morning hours on Sunday, according to police. At about 5:35 a.m. on March 25, Cheshire Police responded to the area of Cedar Lane near Flagler Avenue on the report of a person, wearing a red sweatshirt, going through a vehicle in a driveway.
The caller told police the same suspect was seen getting into a parked, dark-colored SUV, and that SUV left the area on Cedar Lane travelling toward Highland Avenue.
While responding to the area, Cheshire Police saw a vehicle leaving the area of Cedar Lane that matched the description that was provided. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Highland Avenue at Country Club Road and the ensuing investigation led to the arrest of four people, according to police.

The following were arrested on charges of fourth-degree larceny and credit card theft:
- Ashanti Carr, 22, of Winchester Street in New Haven
- Dimitria Woods, 19, of Elizabeth Street in West Haven
- John Pope, 19, of First Street in Hamden
- Dajon Brown, 18, of Reed Street in New Haven
All four were released on a $2,500 bond and are each scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on April 9.
