Moultrie, formerly of New Haven, was arrested by Hamden Police Oct. 18 and charged with evading responsibility/death, tampering with physical evidence, second-degree criminal mischief, falsely reporting an incident and interfering with a police officer. Moultrie, who was detained on a court-ordered $50,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Nov. 1.
