Man Exposed Himself After Purchasing Rocks From Young Girls: Hamden Police

BREAKING: Police are searching for the suspect, who also allegedly made a lewd comment to one of the girls, police said.

HAMDEN, CT — A man is accused of exposing himself after purchasing rocks from two young girls, Hamden police said. At 5:30 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to Maher Avenue on the report of indecent exposure.

Investigation revealed that 2 young girls were selling rocks in front of their residence, police said. An individual, described as a white male, late 30’s, bald, who was wearing round-framed glasses and a black shirt, stopped and purchased a rock, police said.

Moments later, he returned in his motor vehicle, described as a silver Honda Accord, 2-door, police said. He advised the girls that he wanted to purchase another rock, police said. One of the girls approached his vehicle and observed him “playing” with his exposed genitals, police said. He then made a lewd comment, police said. He fled toward Lincoln Street, police said.
